Scope of application
.Thermally conductive materials: Thermally conductive materials are the most important application of spherical alumina. Spherical alumina as thermally conductive materials are divided into thermal interface materials, thermally conductive engineering plastics, thermally conductive aluminum-based copper-clad plates, thermally conductive plastic sealing materials, etc.
.Catalyst: Spherical alumina is widely used as a base material for catalysts in petroleum processing, chemical and metallurgical industries, for example, it is commonly used to catalyze reactions of heavy oil, wax oil, desulfurization, etc.
.Adsorbent: Spherical alumina can be used as adsorbent for the separation, purification and purification of gases and liquids, commonly used in dehydration, desulfurization, deoxygenation, denitration and other environmental protection fields.
.Filler: Spherical alumina can be used as a high strength and high hardness filler material for filling electronic products, plastics, rubber, ceramics and other materials, which can improve the hardness, strength and durability of products. Filler for heat sink, heat sink substrate (MC substrate), heat sink grease, phase change sheet, filler for semiconductor encapsulation resin, filler for silicone heat sink binder and mixture;
.Polishing material: Spherical alumina can be used as polishing material for polishing and buffing of metal surfaces, which can obtain polished, smooth and reflective surfaces.
.Reaction auxiliaries: spherical alumina can also be used as reaction auxiliaries for some high temperature reactions, solid oxidation reactions, reduction reactions, etc., which can increase the reaction speed and improve the reaction efficiency.
.Ceramic materials: Ceramic materials added with spherical alumina powder can be used to manufacture low temperature resistant plastic ceramics. In addition, spherical alumina can greatly improve the toughness of ceramics, and when the content of spherical alumina powder is 5.0%, it can effectively improve the toughness of ceramics and reduce the sintering temperature.
.3D printing material: spherical alumina is the most commonly used material for 3D printing because of its high strength, high sphericity and high temperature resistance. Since spherical alumina powder has good particle fluidity, chemical reaction rate and stacking, it has the advantages of high solid content, good fluidity, easy cleaning and high mechanical properties when used as printing slurry.
.Thermal spray coating: Spherical alumina powder particles are sprayed on metals and plastics to improve the hardness, corrosion resistance, wear resistance and fire resistance of the surface, which can be used for surface protection of machinery and chemical pipelines, etc.
.Nanoscale spherical alumina powder is sensitive to humidity, has high application value in temperature sensor, and is used as substrate material for large-scale integrated circuits.
.Nanoscale spherical alumina powder has strong absorption ability for UV light below 250nm. If several nanometers of spherical alumina powder are doped into rare earth phosphor, the nano UV absorption blue shift phenomenon can be used to absorb the harmful UV light, and it will not reduce the luminous efficiency of the phosphor. Nano spherical alumina can be sintered into transparent ceramics as the material of high-pressure sodium lamp can be compounded with rare-earth phosphor as the light-emitting material of the mouth light lamp.
